Bio

Dr. Ryan Martin, MD, is Assistant Professor in Obstetrics, Gynecology and the Reproductive Sciences at Yale University and is the Medical Director of the Yale Fertility Center in Westport. His clinical interests include infertility, IVF and preservation of fertility in cancer patients.

Dr. Martin received his medical degree from the Yale University School of Medicine and completed his Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Yale/New Haven Hospital. He pursued fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Yale University and then joined the Yale Faculty. Dr Martin is the recipient of multiple teaching awards and is an instructor in the department of OB/GYN. He is an active member of American Society of Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), the Society for Reproductive Endocrinology (SREI), American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists (AAGL) and the International Society for Fertility Preservation (ISFP).

Dr. Martin is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and is Board Eligible in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. He serves as a reviewer for various scientific journals and has published many peer-reviewed scientific manuscripts, book chapters and review articles on wide ranging topics such as fertility preservation, fertility insurance mandates and the biologic efficiency of reproduction.
