Psychiatric Inpatient Consultation Service

The Psychiatric Inpatient Consultation Service is for patients admitted to other medical services at Yale-New Haven Hospital (including internal medicine, surgery, obstetrics and gynecology), who are experiencing significant psychiatric symptoms or problems. The consultation service provides psychiatric evaluation, collaboration with medical specialists and arrangement for follow-up behavioral health care when needed.
