The mission of the Yale Cerebrovascular Program is to provide the most advanced treatments for stroke available anywhere and, in keeping with that mission, the program is dedicated to the advancement of knowledge about cerebrovascular disease, prevention, and treatment. The team of medical specialists is internationally recognized for their expertise in treating cerebrovascular disease (stroke), and patients are offered superior services in a warm and compassionate environment.
The program offers state-of-the-art diagnostic technologies, and treatment modalities that are uniquely available in Connecticut. Physician specialists are actively engaged in ongoing research, in both clinical and laboratory settings, and offer their expertise through fellowships, training the next generation of cerebrovascular experts. Weekly conferences provide a multidisciplinary forum for the enhancement of clinical management, education, and research in cerebrovascular disease.
The program is a combined resource of neurology, vascular surgery, and interventional neuroradiology in a multidisciplinary approach to the treatment and rehabilitation of patients with cerebrovascular disease.|
