Pediatric Endocrinology

Yale Pediatric Endocrinology is a multidisciplinary unit that includes staff physicians with broad-ranging clinical interests. Faculty members all have expertise in general endocrine disorders in addition to directing centers of excellence in a number of important endocrine diseases. The section provides the highest level of clinical care to children who exhibit a wide variety of endocrine and metabolic problems.

Pediatric Endocrinology's clinical programs are supported by clinical nurse specialists, dietitians and a social worker. Outpatients are seen in the Pediatric Endocrine offices at 2 Church Street South in New Haven, a facility that provides ample parking and easy access from Routes 95 and 91. Special endocrine testing procedures are carried out by nurses in the Yale Pediatric Specialty Center who are expert in performing stimulation and tolerance testing procedures. Physicians in the Children's Hospital are also expert in the care of children with endocrine disorders who require admission to the hospital for evaluation and treatment of their conditions.

Faculty also see patients in the Pediatric Specialty Center at Greenwich Hospital and our Brookfield office. These locations are convenient for families living in Fairfield and Litchfield counties, and the Putnam, Dutchess, and Westchester county regions of New York.
